I am a baskermaker by profession based in Belturbet, Co. Cavan. 

I make high quality durable baskets from seasoned willow such as fuel baskets i.e log, turf, coal baskets, shopper baskets, baby’s cradles, made to measure storage baskets, plaited wreaths, vegetable/trug baskets and also traditional baskets such as creels and scoibs.  

My baskets are resilient and timeless pieces. 

I grow my own willow it is harvested by hand, then sorted and graded and prepared by my own hands. 

Each basket is unique it is woven to last and if looked after each piece will survive for generations to come.
